Rasoun Tourist Camp




 This tourist camp was established with the support of the United States Agency for International Development, under the supervision of the Royal Society for the Protection of Nature, and the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in 2010, an area of ​​12 dunums, located in Jordan, 13 km northwest of the city of Ajloun, and the altitudes range (1200 m) above sea level, Where a plant pattern called oak forest pattern spreads.


Rasoun Tourist Camp is characterized by an enormous biodiversity:




 1- 200 species of wild plants and flowers.
 2- 30 medicinal plant species.
 3- 8 types of predators.
 4- 4 types of rodents.
 5- 16 species of reptiles.
 6- 40 species of birds.



 The tourist camp is equipped to stay and overnight with the possibility of enjoying bird watching and identification of plants through a hobby in the walkways within the camp.



  Facilities at Rasoun Tourist Camp:



 1) Sanitary units.
 2) Contains wooden huts and sleeping tents.
 3) overlooking the neighboring villages and see Syria, Lebanon and Palestine.

 Tourism programs in the camp:


 1) Walking in the tourist corridors accompanied by the environmental guide inside the camp.
 2) Visit the nearby archaeological and tourist sites near the camp accompanied by the guide.
 3) Overnight in the tents designated for this inside the camp.
 4) Receive, guide and introduce visitors to the camp and its objectives and activities.
 5) An environmental shop for selling and displaying local products to villages and marketing them.  
6) Provide popular meals.
7) Tours the villages surrounding the reserve and eat meals at some families from the local community.
8) Mountain Landing and walking on the air ferries.
